A year later, i found on the website of NASA a link to high school students competition. The topic of it was about aircrafts. I decided and i took part in this competition with a friend of mine. The first year, i didn’t do great. I guess the judges would say while they were reading my essay, “What the fuck are they writing?”. However, the next year, was a totally different new year. I was a year old, wiser, more mature and with more knowledge. We wrote a pretty good essay with my partner and submitted it to NASA. A couple of months later i learned that my essay got the third place internationally! When i learned that it was one of my very few wow moments! The reason i wrote this paragraph is not to show you what a great guy i am but to show you how the Internet has helped me. Thanks to the Internet i was able to reach a wealth of informations and use those infos for my essay. If I hadn’t had access to the Internet, i wouldn’t have learned about the competition, i wouldn’t be able to find resources and finally i wouldn’t have been able to write this post!

A year ago, me and Andreas Metaxas started Request Productions. What’s Request Productions? RP was originally a company which would shoot short films and create a place online to promote young artists. However, somewhere in our journey in the wild world of the Internet, we discovered that you can’t really promote artists unless you are already popular. No knew us! So, we decided to change the orientation of the project. We renamed the company to Request Productions Media Group. The RP Media Group now create Albedo Mag, a web magazine which will cover the latest updates in non mainstream art.

Furthermore, I am a writer on xblog.gr . Xblog is the most popular Greek Tech blog. I told you, blogging is my thing!

Welcome to my new blog, or to be more accurate welcome to one of my new blogs. I used to have just one blog on the top level domain, www.dimitrist.com, but i decided to delete it and create blogs on sub-domain. The main reason i did was the fact that i had post about totally unrelated topics on the same page. This was really a big issue. In this blog, as the title implies i am going to talk about my personal life, upload photos, and share my experiences with you.
